Switzerland… famous for chocolate, watches, and soon, a game-changing climate-positive cellulosic fibre?

Perhaps we’re getting ahead of ourselves – HeiQ’s AoniQ fibre is still a few years from being scaled commercially – but the idea of wearing clothes that are not only plastic-free, but which actually draw down carbon from the atmosphere is hugely exciting. We’ll be watching this one very closely.

  • HeiQ is a Swiss materials and textile innovation company that is listed on the London Stock Exchange. It was founded in 2005 as a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
