WHAT WE SAY:

Evanesce means ‘to disappear’ – which is exactly what this Canadian startup plans for its food trays, made from moulded starch and fibres, designed to replace the horrible but still available Styrofoam ones that litter the landscape.

Could this be the next big thing for food packaging? Given starch’s low cost and widespread availability, it will be exciting to watch how this innovative new approach scales in the coming months and beyond.
