Glass is infinitely recyclable and yet not nearly enough recycled glass is being used.
Estal is setting a great example of how to increase demand, with lower minimum order quantities for unique shapes, opening the market up for niche as well as mass.

ABOUT ESTAL
Estal is a 25-year-old Spanish manufacturer of premium Glass bottles for wine, spirits, olive oil and the beauty market, with custom moulding solutions starting at 10,000 units.
Its recent innovation – Wild Glass – has been awarded by LuxePack for its use of up to 100% recycled glass, while its RUDE Collection was awarded at the LuxePack Green Awards in 2021, receiving a special recognition for a new glass colour that’s 100% recycled.
The company offers a range of other innovative patents, including the DobleAlto system, which creates a double-height base for brand presence; the Track-Ring finish that has a continuous neck; and 360-degree textures.
The company prides itself on original solutions, working with designers from the initial design phase to first production and offering a range of personalised options.
For those not wanting personalised solutions, Estal has opened a B2B e-commerce platform. Inventory is available immediately and can be delivered to 21 countries in a maximum timespan of two weeks.
The company is partnering with Avery Dennison and Leonhard Kurz on the Make a Mark design initiative – a three-year project in collaboration with top packaging design agencies that will result in an inspirational platform for the wine and spirits sector. Participating designers are developing new concepts under the pillars of sustainability, luxury and innovation.
