It’s a sign of the times when ‘sustainable plastics’ makers (whatever that means) are investing in truly circular and infinitely recyclable materials like aluminium.

Emballator might not be a household name, but its launch of mono-material aluminium tubes shows that the family-owned Swedish packaging maker is attempting to create what’s next. It’s still early days, but we hope that the company can find a host of commercial partners to prove the viability of its new product range, allowing it to leave its plastic-producing days firmly in the past.
